Pardon the Interruption
The New Year is just around the corner and our resolutions to improve and better ourselves are being finalized. However, in light of celebrating the Christmas season, there is something more happening than our lists and plans. Come join us as we explore the work God has in store for us that is often found in the interruptions we try so hard to avoid.
Christmas Eve Service
Christmas Eve Service - A time of contemplation and worship as we celebrate the birth and life of Jesus!
Looking
With Us (part 3) - Ever since the fall, when humanity was separated from God, we have all been trying to find our way back to him. This is a story that has been lived and told over and over again as people have been longing, waiting, and looking for God in this broken world. As we approach the Christmas season, we wait with anticipation for the coming of the Lord!
Waiting
With Us (part 2) - Ever since the fall, when humanity was separated from God, we have all been trying to find our way back to him. This is a story that has been lived and told over and over again as people have been longing, waiting, and looking for God in this broken world. As we approach the Christmas season, we wait with anticipation for the coming of the Lord!
Longing for God
With Us (part 1) - Ever since the fall, when humanity was separated from God, we have all been trying to find our way back to him. This is a story that has been lived and told over and over again as people have been longing, waiting, and looking for God in this broken world. As we approach the Christmas season, we wait with anticipation for the coming of the Lord!
Looking Back and Looking Forward
2023 has been a challenging year in many ways. Despite these challenges, this year has also been a huge blessing, and we have much to look forward to in 2024. Please join us as we reflect and celebrate all the Lord has done among us in 2023, and as we anticipate what he is leading us to in the coming year!
Give Thanks
"Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you" (Mark 5:19). Jesus spoke these words to a man whom he delivered from the anguished clutches of demonic possession. They remind us of the importance of giving God credit and thanks for what he's done for us and of sharing that good news with others. In our Sunday worship, Bob Brown and Matthew Edwards will join Grady Smith as they share their personal perspectives of thanksgiving and how God is working in their lives and in the life of our Northeast family. We invite you to join us as we "Give Thanks" together!
The Paradox of Prayer
Dear God (part 9) - "Dear God..." These two words are the words that many have been taught to say when they start a prayer. Do you ever struggle with what to say next? When you do find the words to pray, does it ever seem shallow? Prayer is an ancient practice that has been a deep well of spiritual life of many people. For this reason, Jesus taught his disciples to pray. Why is it so hard then? Please join us as we consider the deep wells of life that are available to us through prayer.
Prayer and Fasting
