God is ... (part 2) - What is God like? That is a really big question. Although there are many answers to that question, throughout history followers of Jesus answered in two consistent ways: God is good, and God is love. But what does it mean for God to be good and to be defined by love in light of all the evil we see around us? We invite you to be with us as we join in the struggle to answer this challenging question.

No Other Purpose (Mission Sunday)
There are so many competing purposes in our lives. We have our families, careers, and even our hobbies. It seems impossible to fully give ourselves to any of these areas. But what if there was a bigger purpose that could give meaning and drive to every area of our lives? What if there was a bigger purpose for which we were created and designed to live into? Today is Mission Sunday, and we are giving time, attention, and resources to focus on the mission of God and the work here at Northeast.
Easter
No Longer (part 2) - Ever since the fall of humanity in the Garden of Eden, humans have been ruled and limited by the power of death. Death is feared by most and served by all. However, when Jesus came to earth as a human, he conquered death and its powers. He then made it possible for all who believe in him to do the same. This promise is not just for one day when Jesus returns, but it is a promise we are invited to live into now. We are all called to a life where death no longer has dominion!
Two Words That Change Everything

The Season of Singing
Longer and warmer days. The emergence of new life with budding trees and flowers. Many of us anxiously await the arrival of the spring season for various reasons. We come out of our "hibernation" with a renewed sense of joy and hopefulness. As Song of Songs 2:11-12 says: "See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come." Join with us, as together we celebrate the Lord who brings new life in a devotional worship service that will highlight praising him in song!
Good Purpose
Genesis (part 7) - In Genesis, we learn about the perfect God who created his good world and blessed it. However, humanity broke the template. Therefore, Genesis does not include stories of heroes and perfect people. It contains stories of men and women who made tragic choices against God's good intentions, and the result was brokenness and pain. Despite this reality, God did not give up on humanity, and he kept his plan moving forward in the world. Join us as we look at these stories of blessings, brokenness, and promise.
