Go and Do

Go Northeast (part 4) - "Go." This past year we have been focusing in on the mission of God. We believe that since creation God has had a purpose for humanity—to be his image bearers and partners to bringing his goodness to his good creation. That purpose was hijacked in the fall of humanity, but God has not given up on us. For thousands of years he has been drawing lost people back to him to once again be his image bearers and partners. Through Jesus, God invites us today to step back in to this mission. This is the mission of God. He has been working and he is calling you—to take a step into his mission by taking a step out to go and make disciples.

Don’t get too comfortable in your current routine. God may have bigger plans for you!

Remember These Things

When was the last time you forgot something? Most of us in one way or another have forgotten many things through the years. Where did I put those car keys? Oops, I forgot your birthday...sorry. Many times a "brain cramp" isn't a big deal. But other times our memory loss can prove to be serious or tragic. Today's sermon serves as a reminder for us to make every effort to never forget those things that truly matter the most.

The Why Behind the What

As we celebrate our recent graduates, we want to empower them to live lives that reflect Christ in the next phase on their lives. In Ephesians, Paul encourages the disciples in Ephesus to "live a life worthy of the calling they have received." Paul makes the case that our lives ought to live up the invitation that God has offered through Christ, not to earn our worth, but because he has already deemed us worthy.
