Living in Exile
How can we live a faithful life on mission in a world that does not accept our faith? While we are facing many modern problems, living in a culture that has difference values than the kingdom of God is nothing new. This is the story of Daniel.
The Gospel According to You
The first four books of the New Testament are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Each of these has an ancient subtitle that says, "The Gospel According To..." All four books then are eyewitness accounts to what these men saw and heard as they spent time with Jesus or interviewed other men and women. Their experiences, testimonies, and lives have shaped how we encounter the story of Jesus today. Now it’s our turn. Our own unique experiences, testimonies, and the way we live should point people to Jesus.
Whistle While You Work
Happy Labor Day! How satisfied are you in the work that you do? While surveys reveal a wide range of answers to this question, God intends for our work to be productive, creative, and fulfilling. Join us this Sunday as we explore why a meaningful vocational life enhances our impact and witness to the world.
Not In It To Win It
Kingdom Come (part 3) - As we aim and work to join the mission of Jesus, there are many competing forces that are vying for our allegiance. This is particularly true when it comes to political parties and their leaders. Our current times beg the following questions: How should disciples of Jesus engage with politics? How should we view and treat other disciples and unbelievers with opposite views? In a world full of division and hate, how can we be a faithful presence of love, joy, and peace, while at the same time making a difference? Please join us as we wrestle with these tensions.

The Lord Needs It
"The Lord Needs It." This was what the disciples were instructed to tell the man who supplied the donkey for Jesus' to ride upon as he made his final entry to Jerusalem. We know very little about this man, but he played a role, albeit behind the scenes, in Jesus' reception as the Messiah King. What can we learn from this and other accounts in scripture about how God can use us all, even in "small" ways, in his kingdom mission? "The Lord needs it." The Lord needs YOU!
Come and See
Go Northeast (part 6) - "Go." This past year we have been focusing in on the mission of God. We believe that since creation God has had a purpose for humanity—to be his image bearers and partners to bringing his goodness to his good creation. That purpose was hijacked in the fall of humanity, but God has not given up on us. For thousands of years he has been drawing lost people back to him to once again be his image bearers and partners. Through Jesus, God invites us today to step back in to this mission. This is the mission of God. He has been working and he is calling you—to take a step into his mission by taking a step out to go and make disciples.
